Society for the Advancement of Science

The Society for the Advancement of Science is a learned society. Founded in YEAR on the Gorn planet Ghedak Prime. The Society is the Gorn Hegemony's Academy of Sciences, and fulfills a number of roles: promoting science and its benefits, recognizing excellence in science, supporting outstanding science, and providing scientific advice for policy.
